Face recognition technology
NEC, for example, brought in its stand an innovation to optimize the day-to-day of financial institutions and, consequently, of users. It is a facial recognition solution. Generally speaking, people will have a registration at the institution that will make the alternative available and this will ensure that it debits your checking account values with face recognition, more or less as it happens with digital today.
Following the line of features for people, NTT Group has introduced a solution in healthcare: a T-shirt with motion sensor that is able to allow the user to monitor their data from a connection with the smartphone. Incredible, is not it?
IoT always present
You must have realized that Internet of Things is one of the most present themes in our contents and events, isn’t it? And this time it was no different. Once again, Qualcomm has exposed some of the solutions for connected cars. Among the main ones were the possibilities that a steering assistant allows, such as interconnecting a camera system and an intelligent information system that helps the driver to prevent accidents and fines.
For retail, one of the most interesting solutions of the event was the label presented by PromonLogicals. The smart device allows the final consumer to have access to all the data of the product they are buying, which totally meets the new trends of conscious consumption and sustainable process for fashion production.
To end: 5G
Ericsson and Claro made possible an unprecedented moment in the country: the first 5G test. The prototype system, which reaches a throughput of approximately 5Gbps (average of 4.5 Gbps), operates in the 15GHz frequency band, occupying 4 carriers of 100 MHz, with aggregation of carriers (carrier aggregation), totaling 400Mhz bandwidth ( 14.7 GHz to 15.1 GHz), currently used in Brazil for microwaves (Point-to-Point Radios).
