Shopping apps up 111% in 2016

We are talking about the State of Mobile study, which revealed some insights about mobile apps in Brazil and the World, as well as trends identified in 2016 and predictions of what we can expect in 2017 when it comes to the mobile universe.

Overall, Flurry monitored 940,000 applications on 2.1 billion devices – totaling around 10 billion sessions per day. Here are some indexes you need to know:

– By 2016, general application usage grew 9 percent compared to 2015;

– In the last year, applications sessions of messaging and social media grew 70% in the country;

– Purchasing applications grew by 111% in total sessions;

– Despite the favoritism of the Games category – “Darling” of the mobile industry – saw a 10% fall in sessions.
